They are the biggest, baddest mother fuckers in all of Resident Evil. And they're all back. Maybe now we can finally have Nemesis overturn buses, and throw cars, and he comes at you in all his bullet-proofed glory. Or maybe the Proto-Tyrant will have to deal with more than just one handgun because I didn’t know I’d have to fight him. Leech guys are back too. That kind of sucks, but I suppose you must take the bad with the baddest with Umbrella Chronicles.
Where’s Mr. X? I haven’t played Resident Evil 2, but I’m curious to see him! God, I can’t wait to play this game! All the Resident Evil Games. And more!
Playing as Wekser? Yes. Yes to the max.

A rail-based shooter though... I dunno...
It makes multiplayer easier, but it seems to me like it'd be more of a simplistic, "freak out with the trigger finger" then anything else.
I'm not a big arcade gamer, but the few times that I've played a rail shooter like that, it's like I've been on the gunner turret of a tank someone else is driving - whenever I'm about to make the most amazing shot ever, they turn the vehicle unexpectedly and the shot goes wide. So instead of really aiming, it turns into "get the turret close, and fire".
If they've done something innovative though, it might be cool to see; and with multiple players, it might add a bit more strategy and enjoyment to it (dividing up the lead-pumping workload).
Of course, for storytelling, a rail-shooter works just as well as any other (perhaps even better, in some respects, since you know EXACTLY what will happen, and how long it'll take someone to get to a certain point)
Rail shooters may lose their appeal soon. But Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles is pretty much a fan-service game. Nothing overly new or revolutionary, but enough to get Nintendo fans to delve into the franchise if they missed the boat on the Gamecube.
And if you consider how much of the market has opened up because of the Wii, it makes sense. If the Wii gets X new people playing games, Capcom can get a portion of that X new people interested in Resident Evil games. :)
Oh, and just so you know Stu, Resident Evil 2, Code Veronica and 4 are not covered by this game. So, you wont see Mr. X at all.
:P
This information disturbs and angers me. I thought 2 and Code Veronica were in it. Outrageous!
