The List

Let it be known to the world that I have a lot of catching up to do in the world of gaming! I’m still slowly progressing through Twilight Princess, and I have a lot of games on the waiting list, and they need to be beaten! With the release of the new Pokémon DS games I have come to a full realization of how slowly I have been progressing through games, and how vital it is that I get that game. (WiFi Pokémon? Fuck yeah!) So in a Jordan-inspired move (with some Brian “Whatcha playing” influence) I’ve decided to put out a list of games I need to beat, and games that are on the waiting list for being purchased.

I give you, the birth of Stu’s “The List”

The List

1 – The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - GCN

2 – Half Life: Source – PC

3 – Half Life 2 – PC

4 – Half Life 2: Episode One - PC

5 – Final Fantasy III – DS

On Hold

1 – Pokémon Diamond (or Pearl) - DS

2 – Wii and some games to be announced.

To be continued...when other games come out.

I wouldn’t expect me to do this with Wii Preparation-esque speed, but I will try to power through these games the best I can, so I can continue on with the On Hold list before it grows so massive that it devours my wallet entirly.

In other videogame related news: I just found out that Paul W.S. Anderson will be directing, writing, and producing a Castlevania *movie. Resident experts say all Castlevania fans have been suffering from symptoms that share a strange resemblance of being kicked in the testicle brothers.

Good Day!

*EDIT: I meant movie.

The List.

Makes me think of Lost.

"Nathan was not a good person. That's why he wasn't on the list."

In the same way, Pokemon is not a good game. That's why it should not be on the list (Stu, I thought you would have moved past Pokemon...although Wi-Fi battles is intriguing).

You know, I am actually feeling compelled to re-enter the pokemon world after a very long absence.

151 Pokemon....

That's where it should have ended, it's all about the old school stuff.

Damn right. No there is about a billion Pokemon. Or 459 I think was the most recent total. Maybe 493. The point is, it is too much.

Hey! They're quality games! The extra WiFi goodies make it all the sweeter too!

And I don't know about any of the new Pokemon since Gold/Silver, so it'll be all new for me!

All new!

If I were to have the hardware, I'd probably look into a pokemon game...

I don't have the time/interest/effort for a "real" RPG; I don't really want to spend hours/days/weeks levelling up and doing whatever else needs doing... give me a simple, straightforward deal and let me figure it out from there...

I never actually got into ANY of the pokemon craze; heck, I could probably bum a gameboy colour off someone and play the original gameboy games...

Actually... anyone willing to lend me a game boy colour/pocket/whatever and the cartridge? I know someone's got it and isn't using it...

Damn you stu! Now I really want to try it out...

I think even if someone still did have Pokemon Blue/Red/Yellow (as I do) and a functionning Game Boy Colour (as I do) it is highly likely that the save battery within the cartridge is did (as mine is, I think).

I found a solution... it sounds like "BOM", but it's not related to a terrorist act...

A portable version would be nice, but my current plan should work to get the whole experience...
